old – About us

The Gloucester and District Christian Choir was formed ten years ago, under the Direction of Musical Director Pamela Dewick, to support Roger Jones and Christian Music Ministries, in the Gloucester Production of Snakes and Ladders.

The Choir has grown in those ten years to about 60 members – over half way to the original vision of a choir of 100.  Over 20 different churches are represented in the choir and members come from all parts of Gloucestershire.

What about you?

The choir is looking for more members, especially men (why are they always in short supply!) so come and give us a try – you will not have to audition – just come along on a Monday evening to St Marys Congregational Church (on the corner of St Marys Street and Archdeacon Street, just behind the Cathedral) at around 7.45 pm for 1.5 hours and give us a try.
